Our Mission

First Presbyterian Church Day School is a ministry in which preschool children have the opportunity to grow and develop in a Christian environment that nurtures their individual spirits.  Preschool is a vital time in a child’s life as they are grasping new concepts like problem-solving, reasoning, thinking, and creating. Our purpose is to teach children these skills and more in a safe, loving atmosphere that celebrates the mental, social, physical, and spiritual growth of each child.  The Day School provides a wide range of learning experiences for each child and recognizes that children learn at an individual pace. Our staff encourages learning through independent play, one-on-one time, and small group activities. Our class centers are designed for students to gain cognitive skills, gross and fine motor skills, and communicative development. These skills combined with a curriculum that focuses on early literacy and math skills make First Presbyterian Day School an ideal and unique learning experience for your child.
